9th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference (ASMS) and 15th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop (SPSC)
Berlin, Sept. 10-12, 2018

The 9th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference and the 15th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop are jointly organized by the DLR Institute for Communications and Navigation, the European Space Agency and the University of Bologna.

The conference will take place in Berlin, 10-12 September 2018.

The Leitmotiv of the 2018 edition will be the role of satellite communications within 5G, under the motto SatCom meets 5G!

Building upon the renowned tradition of the two events, this joint conference is an outstanding opportunity for industry and research institutions to get the latest updates and to exchange information about recent advances and emerging technologies for mobile, broadband and broadcast satellite communication systems.

A major novelty of the 2018 edition is the introduction of two separate tracks:

  • Track A with stronger focus on theoretical advances with relatively low TRL and requiring full paper submission. Papers accepted within this track will appear on IEEE Xplore.
  • Track B addressing mainly industrial developments with higher level of technological maturity based on extended abstract submission.

The paper submission is now closed.

Please, note: Authors of the accepted papers have to register as an author (IEEE or non-IEEE) in order to get the registration code necessary for the final paper upload through EDAS.
